WMATA railcars 2068 and 2069 sit on a track at the Greenbelt rail yard that is used for deliveries of new rolling stock and disposal of retired rolling stock. These two cars were the first to be sent to a scrapyard in Baltimore following the retirement of the 2000-Series railcars earlier that year after more than 40 years of passenger service.
