The former Shenandoah Heights Elementary School in Waynesboro, Virginia, now home to Shenandoah Valley Social Services. The elementary school opened in 1950, and served in that role until 1995, when an arson fire destroyed the building's east wing, which would lead to the demolition of that section of the building. At the time of the fire, the school had been serving as swing space for the as-yet-incomplete William Perry Elementary School, which would open a few months later. The remainder of the building would later be renovated to house social services offices.
