Debut of the Washington Metro's new 7000-Series railcars on January 6, 2014 at Greenbelt station in Prince George's County, Maryland. This four-car set, numbered 7004-7007, will undergo acceptance testing for several months before entering revenue service.
This photo shows the head (cab) end of car 7004. Unlike earlier railcar series, which have a brown front, 7000-Series cars have a black front with the Metro "M" logo on the bulkhead door.
