The remains of the Francis Scott Key Bridge, approximately nine months after the MV Dali experienced a mechanical malfunction and subsequently collided with one of the bridge's support piers in the early morning of March 26, 2024, causing the complete collapse of the bridge's center truss section.

This image shows the gap between the two remaining sections of the bridge, where the center truss section once stood. View facing northeast. Compare to this photo taken from a similar angle prior to the collapse, with the truss section in place.
