Tunnel advertisement located just east of Gallery Place-Chinatown station on the Red Line of the Washington Metro system. This advertisement worked similarly to a zoetrope, where viewers moving on the train viewed a series of images through small slits as they moved, which gave the illusion of animation. It remained in use until the 2008 recession, and its use was never resumed following the recession's end. The hardware was removed in 2013.

The first advertisement to be implemented in this manner was for the 2006 Lincoln Zephyr SUV, seen here.
