Former sign structure for The Inn at Afton, a now-abandoned motel at Rockfish Gap in Augusta County, Virginia. The property was built in 1968, and operated as a Holiday Inn through the mid 1990s before going independent and taking its final name. After a long period of decline, the motel finally ceased operation in the late 2010s. This sign was originally a 1980s-style Holiday Inn sign, and was reduced to just the pole and the sign face when the property went independent.
